CHIROPRACTOR
Growing up I was involved with activities at a local church along with sports such as track, basketball, and football. Patients tend to recognize me from when I worked at our local Hy-Vee, I worked there for six years. I graduated from Boone High school in 2010 and DMACC in 2012 with my associate degree. In 2017 I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic with my Bachelors and Doctor of Chiropractic. In my free time I enjoy spending time doing projects with my dad, relaxing at home, and playing with my dogs.
WHY CHIROPRACTIC?
I was in the pursuit of being in the medical field and one day owning my own business. My interest in chiropractic came after visiting my local chiropractor Dr. Rick Elbert in Ogden, IA. I quickly became a patient at Dr. Rick’s office where I started to notice how much chiropractic care changed my daily life; I didn’t have to take pain medication anymore. After a while Dr. Rick encouraged me to visit Palmer! Shortly after I signed up to go to a prospective student event at Palmer College. During this event I knew that chiropractic was the profession that I wanted to do; I wanted to help people feel their best without having to use artificial means like pain medication. I am thankful to be able to work in our community and look forward to helping you experience the magic of chiropractic.

Thanks for dropping by! I’m Liz; I help Dr. Nathan keep the office on track. You’ll catch me doing front end office duties or down in my massage therapy room! Here’s a bit of info about me: I grew up in Colo, IA about 30 minutes east of Boone. In my younger years, I participated in flag football, track and field, softball, and volleyball; these activities took a toll on my body.
My junior year I began experiencing migraines as a typical teenager I took ibuprofen to “cure” my symptoms. In 2011, was introduced to Nathan; we ended up dating shortly after meeting; he encouraged me to find an alternative route to help my pain (I didn’t listen). I graduated from Colo-Nesco in 2012 and enrolled at DMACC in Boone under the dental hygiene program. My time at DMACC ended quickly, in 2013 I moved to Davenport with Nathan, as he started his chiropractic journey! As Nathan was learning, I started to recognize the magic of chiropractic and holistic care. In 2015, I graduated from Capri College receiving my massage therapy license, I ended up going back to college at Palmer College of Chiropractic! In 2017 I graduated with my AA degree as a chiropractic technologist and my state of Iowa license as a limited radiologist tech! On the weekends, I enjoy being outdoors, seeing friends, and spending time with our fur babies.
